Fast dashboards on large data, included on every plan.
A dashboard that takes a minute to load is a dashboard nobody opens. Klayara answers dashboard tiles in well under a tenth of a second on tables with more than 100 million rows, keeps live databases from being overloaded, and holds steady when the whole company opens the same page on Monday morning.

How do you make dashboards fast on large data?
Fast dashboards on large data come from answering each chart from data shaped for reporting instead of re-reading every detail row on each click. Klayara does this on every plan: tiles answer in well under a tenth of a second on 100M+ rows, live databases are sped up by summaries Klayara keeps, and many viewers opening one dashboard trigger a single answer.
BI for 100 million rows and more
Klayara dashboard tiles answer in well under a tenth of a second on a table with more than 100 million rows. That is the scale of several years of point-of-sale lines, invoice lines across many branches, or a stock ledger for a large distributor, and it is where many reporting setups start to crawl.
Speed here is not a paid extra. There is no capacity to buy and no premium engine tier: fast is part of every plan. A finance team on the entry plan reading budget vs actual gets the same treatment as a large group reading branch-wise sales across every company.
Why dashboards are slow, and how to fix a slow dashboard
Most slow dashboards are slow for a handful of reasons: every chart re-reads every detail row, the reporting tool queries the same busy database that runs the business, a refresh reloads the whole table each night, or fifty people open the same page at nine o'clock and each one triggers the same work.
Fixing a slow dashboard usually means removing that repeated work rather than buying a bigger server. Klayara handles each cause directly, as the table further down this page shows, so the person reading stock cover or receivables ageing does not have to know why it is fast.
Live database dashboards without slowing the database
Data you keep in your own database can be made dashboard-fast by summaries Klayara keeps, without copying the detail rows out of your system. The dashboards stay live, and your database stops answering the same heavy question every time someone changes a filter.
You choose table by table whether Klayara reads live or imports a copy, and both can sit on the same dashboard, even in the same chart. A sales ledger that must be current to the minute can stay live, while a five-year history that rarely changes can be imported for extra speed.
When a summary falls out of date, Klayara skips it automatically and answers from the source instead. A speed-up can only make a chart slower, never wrong, so nobody has to wonder whether a fast number is a stale one.
Dashboard performance with many concurrent viewers
When many people open the same dashboard at once, the database answers once and every viewer gets that answer. A month-end review where every regional manager opens the same sales dashboard does not turn into dozens of identical requests hitting your system.
Runaway queries are stopped cleanly instead of dragging everyone else down, and normal use, sign-ins, AI and each embedded dashboard have their own usage limits, so one cannot starve another. If you embed dashboards in your own product, on the Enterprise plan, you can also cap how hard embeds may load the system.
- One answer for many viewers — the same dashboard opened by a crowd is worked out once
- Runaway queries stopped — one heavy request cannot freeze the page for others
- Separate limits — dashboards, AI and embeds cannot crowd each other out
Keeping large tables fresh without long refreshes
Incremental refresh fetches only new or changed rows, so refreshes stay quick even on very large tables. A nightly refresh of a sales table that grows by a few thousand lines a day moves those lines, not the whole history.
Readers never see a half-loaded table: a refresh swaps in whole or not at all, and every dashboard shows when its data was last updated. Another system can also start a refresh, for example right after the nightly close, so morning dashboards are both fast and current.
Check the speed on your own data
You can rerun our speed tests on your own hardware and data rather than taking a number on trust. That is the fairest test of whether a dashboard will be fast for you, because your tables, your filters and your number of readers are what matter.
On self-hosted installations, part of the Enterprise plan, Klayara scales out as you grow, and heavy data loading can run separately from dashboards so a large import never slows the people reading. Health checks, monitoring and logs let your IT team see how the system is doing.

Common causes of slow dashboards, and how Klayara handles each
| Cause | What readers notice | How Klayara handles it |
|---|---|---|
| Every chart re-reads every detail row | Each filter click takes seconds | Tiles answer in well under a tenth of a second on 100M+ rows |
| Reporting hits the busy business database | Dashboards slow down, and so does the system staff work in | Summaries Klayara keeps answer the heavy questions, without copying the detail |
| Many people open the same dashboard at once | Monday-morning pages hang | The database answers once for everyone viewing |
| One runaway query | The whole page freezes for everyone | Runaway queries are stopped cleanly |
| Full reloads on every refresh | Long refresh windows and stale mornings | Incremental refresh fetches only new or changed rows |
| Half-finished refreshes | Totals that briefly look wrong | A refresh swaps in whole or not at all |
| Speed sold as a premium tier | Fast only for the biggest budgets | Speed is included on every plan |

How fast are Klayara dashboards on large tables?
Dashboard tiles answer in well under a tenth of a second on a table with more than 100 million rows. You can rerun our speed tests on your own hardware and data to check it for yourself.
Do we need a higher plan for faster dashboards?
No. Speed is included on every plan. There is no capacity to buy and no premium engine tier, so Starter, Growth and Enterprise customers get the same fast dashboards. Plans differ in features such as row-level security and automations, not in speed.
Will live dashboards slow down our ERP or database?
They are designed not to. Summaries Klayara keeps answer the heavy questions, many viewers of one dashboard trigger a single answer, and runaway queries are stopped. You can also import a busy table instead of reading it live.
Can a speed-up ever show a wrong number?
No. When a summary is out of date, Klayara skips it and answers from the source. A speed-up can only make a chart slower, never wrong, so a fast figure is always a correct one.
How do we keep a very large table current?
Use incremental refresh, which fetches only new or changed rows, on a schedule or triggered by another system after the nightly close. Readers never see a half-loaded table, and each dashboard shows when it was last updated.
What happens when the whole company opens one dashboard at once?
The database answers once and every viewer gets that answer. Normal use, AI and embeds also have separate usage limits, so one busy area cannot starve another, and runaway queries are stopped cleanly.
Does Klayara quietly drop rows to keep a chart fast?
No. When a chart reaches its row limit, it says so on the chart itself instead of silently leaving data out. For long category lists, a top ten with the rest rolled into one "Others" bar keeps the chart readable and the total complete.
