The product
What is Klayara?
Klayara is a business intelligence platform. It connects to the databases, spreadsheets and business apps you already have and turns them into live dashboards, scheduled reports and plain-language answers — with exact control over who sees what.
Do we need technical people to use it?
No. Building is drag-and-drop, formulas read like a spreadsheet, and questions can be asked in plain language. If you would rather not build at all, our BI developers will do it for you.
How many chart types are there?
More than 100 — bars, lines, areas, pies and donuts, maps, funnels, heatmaps, scatter, waterfall, gauges, treemaps, KPI cards, tables and more. Switching types is one click.
Can charts filter each other?
Yes. Click a region, a month or a product in any chart and every other chart on the page follows. Drill from the year to the quarter to the day, and see the rows behind any number.
Does it work on phones and TVs?
Yes. Dashboards adapt to any screen — phones, tablets, laptops and wall screens — and refresh themselves from live connections.
Data and security
Do we have to move our data into Klayara?
No. Connect a table live and Klayara asks your database the question — nothing is copied. Import a table only when you want extra speed. Mix both freely, even on one dashboard.
Who can see our data?
Only the people you allow. Row rules limit which records a person sees (their region, their store, their clients); column rules hide or mask sensitive fields (salaries, margins). Set once, applied everywhere.
Do permissions apply to downloads and AI answers too?
Yes — in dashboards, downloads, scheduled reports, shared links, embedded views and AI answers. There is no side door.
Is there an audit trail?
Yes. An activity log records who changed and shared what — every edit to data, dashboards, permissions and security rules — available to administrators.
Does Klayara track usage or phone home?
No. There is no usage reporting and no hidden connection — and the self-hosted product runs with no internet access at all.
Deployment
Can Klayara run on our own servers?
Yes. Run it in your cloud account, your data centre or a fully offline network. It is the same product as our cloud, and self-hosting comes with our support for installation and upgrades.
Can the AI run privately?
Yes. Choose your own AI provider, or run a fully private model on your own hardware so nothing leaves your network.
What happens as our data grows?
Dashboards stay fast on tables with more than 100 million rows. The engine that makes that possible ships with every plan — there is no separate capacity purchase.

How is Klayara priced?
Per user — one price per person on your plan, whether they build dashboards or read them. Every quote is shaped to your team, so pricing starts with a conversation.
What is the done-for-you service?
Our BI developers connect your data, design your dashboards and set up your reports, then stay on hand as your questions grow. It suits teams with no analyst, or teams that want the first dashboards live in days.
Can we start small?
Yes. Connect one source, build one dashboard, invite a handful of people, and grow from there.
What if we want to leave?
Your data was never ours — it stays in your systems. Dashboards export as PDF, Excel, CSV and JSON. No lock-in by design.
