Ask your data in plain words and get a real chart back, built from live data and limited to what you may see.
Type "which products fell last month?" or "margin by region this quarter" and Klayara AI answers with a chart from your own data, using your saved metrics and definitions. Refine it in conversation, pin it to a dashboard, or turn a sentence into a filter.

How do you ask your data questions in plain language?
You type the question the way you would ask a colleague, such as "revenue by region last quarter", and a natural language query tool turns it into a chart from your data. In Klayara, AI chat answers with a real chart from live data, uses your saved metrics, synonyms and certified tables, and sees only what the person asking is allowed to see.
Natural language query: a question in, a real chart out
A natural language query is a question asked in ordinary words instead of by building a chart. In Klayara you type it into AI chat, such as "top ten customers by sales this year" or "orders by status for the Dubai store", and Klayara AI works out the tables, filters and totals, then answers with a real chart built from your live data.
The answer is a chart, not a paragraph with numbers typed into it, so the figures come straight from your data and can be checked. The assistant shows what it is doing as it works, and you can pin the chart to a dashboard when it is worth keeping.
Conversational analytics: refine the answer as you go
Conversational analytics means asking follow-up questions instead of starting again. After the first answer you can say "now only for the north region" or "show it by month", regenerate an answer, and rate it so admins can see what works. Past chats are kept, so you can pick up where you left off.
Suggested questions and follow-ups drawn from your own data mean nobody faces an empty box. When you open AI chat from a dashboard, it reads the dashboard you are on and uses it as context, so "why is this region lower?" refers to the chart in front of you.
- Follow-ups: narrow, regroup or compare without starting over
- History: past chats are kept and can be reopened
- Regenerate and rate: try again, and tell admins which answers helped
- Dashboard context: ask about the dashboard you are looking at
Answers that match the dashboards
Klayara AI reuses the same definitions as your dashboards: saved metrics, synonyms and certified tables from the semantic layer. When someone asks for gross margin by region, the answer uses the margin finance defined, and "debtors" is understood as receivables because a synonym says so.
Admins choose which tables the AI may use and can give it company-wide instructions, such as which table holds the official sales figures. That keeps the AI on the trusted tables instead of an old copy somebody uploaded once.
Within the permissions of the person asking
AI chat answers questions about your data, so it reads the results of each question, always within the permissions of the person asking. Row rules and column masking apply exactly as they do on dashboards: a branch manager asking about sales sees only their branch, and a masked salary column stays masked.
Connection details and passwords never go to the AI, and a request containing a typed password is refused. Admins can switch the AI off entirely, and on Enterprise you can use your own AI provider or a private model on your own servers, on request.
AI filters: a sentence becomes a filter
AI filters turn a sentence into a real filter on a dashboard or chart. Type "orders last quarter over 500" or "city is Paris" and tap Generate. To match the way values are spelt in your data, this helper is shown a few example values of the column, then it builds an ordinary filter you can see and change.
From a question to an alert
When an answer is worth watching, Klayara AI turns a sentence into an automation. Type "email me the sales dashboard every Monday at 9" or "WhatsApp me when stock falls below 50" and get a draft automation, with its trigger, action and schedule, to review and save. Charts and KPIs also offer free "Alert me on this" suggestions that use no AI.

What is natural language query in BI?
A natural language query is a question asked in ordinary words, such as "which products fell last month?", that a BI tool turns into a chart or answer from your data. In Klayara, AI chat answers with a real chart from live data, using your saved metrics and definitions.
Does the AI make up numbers?
No. Klayara AI answers with a real chart built from your data, never an invented number, so every figure can be checked against the dashboards. It reuses your saved metrics, synonyms and certified tables, so its answers match them.
Can people see data they are not allowed to see by asking the AI?
No. AI chat answers within the permissions of the person asking. Row rules and column masking apply exactly as on dashboards, and admins choose which tables the AI may use at all.
Is Klayara AI an AI data analyst?
It handles the everyday questions an analyst gets asked, such as "sales by branch this month", and answers with real charts from your data in seconds. The analyst's time then goes on the questions that need judgement, and the AI follows the definitions they set.
How many credits does a question use?
Most requests use 1 credit; a deeper analysis uses more, never more than 10. AI runs only when you ask, the credits used show under every answer, and you are charged only when the AI produced an answer.
Which plan includes AI chat?
AI chat and AI filters are part of Klayara AI, on the Growth and Enterprise plans. Starter has no Klayara AI. Admins can switch the AI off entirely, and Enterprise can use its own AI provider or a private model on request.
Can I get alerted about an answer?
Yes. Describe the automation you want, such as "email me the sales dashboard every Monday at 9", and Klayara AI drafts it for you to review and save. Charts and KPIs also suggest "Alert me on this" for free.
See it on your own data.
