Who this applies to
This policy applies to every customer of Dictode and Chikito LLC and to every person a customer invites into a Klayara workspace, whether the workspace runs in our cloud or on the customer's own servers. It forms part of the terms of service. Customers are responsible for the people they invite.
What you must do
- Use Klayara only for lawful purposes and in line with the laws that apply to you and to the data you handle.
- Have the right to connect and analyse every data source you connect, including any personal data in it.
- Keep sign-in access personal: do not share accounts, and remove people from the workspace when they leave.
- Set permissions deliberately. Klayara enforces row, column and dashboard rules exactly as you configure them; configuring them is your responsibility.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account or workspace has been accessed without authorisation.
What you must not do
- Try to access data, workspaces, accounts or systems you are not authorised to use, or to bypass permissions, rate limits or other safeguards.
- Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the service without our written agreement (see reporting for how to tell us about a security issue you have found).
- Upload or connect data you have no right to process, or data that is unlawful, infringing or malicious.
- Use the service to harass, defraud, discriminate against or unlawfully profile people.
- Resell, sublicense or offer the service to third parties as your own, except through an embedded-analytics or partner agreement with us.
- Copy, reverse-engineer or interfere with the product or its infrastructure, or remove any notices from it.
- Send spam or unsolicited messages through scheduled reports or other delivery features.
Data sources
Connections to third-party systems (databases, spreadsheets, business applications) are subject to those systems' own terms. You must not use Klayara to exceed the access, rate or licence limits of a source, and you must revoke Klayara's access to a source when you stop using it.
AI features
Klayara AI answers questions from data you are already permitted to see. Do not use it to attempt to reach data outside your permissions, to generate content that is unlawful or harmful, or to overload the AI provider you have chosen. Answers are generated from your data and should be checked before being relied on for decisions with legal or financial consequences.
Fair use
Plans include generous but finite capacity. Automated querying, extremely large refresh schedules or unusual load that degrades the service for other customers may be throttled; where it is sustained we will contact you about a plan that fits.
Reporting misuse
To report misuse of Klayara, or a security vulnerability, email info@dictode.com. We acknowledge security reports within two business days and do not take action against good-faith researchers who report responsibly and avoid accessing other people's data. Our contact details are also published at /.well-known/security.txt.
What happens if these rules are broken
We will normally contact the workspace administrator first and ask for the problem to be fixed. Where a breach is serious, continuing, or puts other customers or the public at risk, we may suspend affected accounts or the workspace immediately, remove content, and in the most serious cases terminate the agreement under the terms of service. We may also notify authorities where the law requires.
