How does Klayara connect to Odoo?
Odoo keeps its data in PostgreSQL. Give Klayara a read-only account on that database and build on the tables live, so nothing is copied — or import the tables you chart most for extra speed. Our BI developers know the Odoo tables and can set it up for you.
Is Klayara a replacement for Odoo?
No. Klayara is not an ERP or accounting system. It is the reporting and dashboard layer on top of the Odoo you already run: Odoo stays the system of record, and Klayara reads from it.
Can we limit what Klayara can read in Odoo?
Yes. The database account you give Klayara can be restricted to the schemas or tables you choose, and Klayara never needs write access. On top of that, row and column permissions decide which people see which figures.
